Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced field QA inspector for a large heavy civil project.

The role requires performing QA inspections, field surveillance, and three-phase inspections to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and safety regulations. Applicants should have 20+ years in construction and QA, with USACE project experience preferred and OSHA 30-hour certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with 20+ years in construction and QA.
• Experience on federal construction projects, USACE preferred.
• Knowledge of EM 385-1-1 and OSHA construction regs is required.

Responsabilités

• Perform field QA inspections to verify compliance with plans and specs.
• Provide field surveillance, three-phase inspections, and daily reports.
• Ensure work aligns with schedules, plans, and safety requirements.
• Inspect materials, installation, and testing for contract compliance.
• Review submittals, QA plans, and maintain audit trails.
• Monitor deficiencies and track RFIs and NAS activities.
• Verify contractor pay requests and prepare daily reports.
• Conduct safety inspections and on-site verifications.
