You will perform field construction QA inspections to verify compliance with plans and specifications, provide field surveillance, and deliver daily inspection reports. The role requires experience with EM 385-1-1 and OSHA regulations, reviewing submittals, monitoring deficiencies, and ensuring contractor work aligns with schedules and safety plans.

Qualifications

• Must be US citizen and pass background check and drug screen.
• Minimum 20 years in the construction industry.
• At least 20 years QA experience on construction projects.
• Experience with USACE and Federal construction preferred.
• OSHA 30-hour certification completed.

Responsibilities

• Perform QA inspections to ensure compliance with plans and specs.
• Provide field surveillance and daily inspection reports.
• Ensure contractor work aligns with schedules and specifications.
• Inspect materials, installation, and testing for contract compliance.
• Review submittals including QA and Safety Plans (EM 385-1-1; OSHA).
• Monitor deficiencies and maintain an audit trail for actions.
• Review daily QC reports for accuracy and deficiencies.
• Conduct safety inspections and document findings.
• Maintain as-built drawings and review NAS-related items.
• Track RFIs, deficiencies, and contractor claims preliminarily.
