Job summary

Accura Engineering is seeking a Senior Construction Representative to support a federally funded rehabilitation project. You will perform on-site inspections, monitor contractor performance, and ensure compliance with EM 385‑1‑1 and OSHA guidelines.

Daily QA and RMS reporting are required, along with multi-day site visits as needed. The role demands a minimum of 15 years of QA/QC experience on construction projects, with USACE or federal project familiarity and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of fifteen (15) years of quality control or quality assurance experience on construction projects.
• USACE or other federal project experience preferred.
• Experience in welding, machining, or industrial construction and field inspections.
• Interpreting construction plans and reviewing as-built drawings.
• Knowledge of EM 385-1-1 and OSHA 29 CFR 1926.
• OSHA 30 Certification and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Inspect ongoing construction with on-site visits and review test results.
• Independently inspect complex civil construction activities with technical acuity.
• Ensure contractor work adheres to schedule, plans, specs, and safety regs.
• Review contractor QC reports and maintain defect correction records.
• Perform surveillance to ensure adherence to USACE 3-phase QC system.
• Attend QA inspections and provide daily RMS input on QC deficiencies.
• Verify site location, layout, and elevations before start of work.
• Maintain tracking for deficiencies, RFIs, and field problems.
