Job summary

Hargrove and Associates, Inc seeks an experienced Quality Assurance/Quality Control Leader to supervise the QA/QC team, drive process improvements, and advance the HMS program on EPC projects across our Alabama operations.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in QA/QC, ASQ or equivalent certification preferred, and a proven ability to audit, train, and deliver corrective actions while interfacing with clients.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in QA/QC for EPC projects.
• Knowledge of Industry Codes and Standards (ASME, API, AWS, NFPA, NACE, IEEE, NEC)
• Minimum 3 years as a Provisional Auditor or 1 year as Lead Auditor
• ASQ or RABQSA Auditor training certification preferred
• Ability to present QA/QC training to groups 5–20+ people
• Valid driver's license
• Experience with construction methods and standards
• Experience interfacing with clients
• Strong documentation and reporting skills

Responsibilities

• Prioritizing work, scheduling plans, and following up on directed assignments.
• Assisting QA Leader in promoting quality awareness within the organization.
• Administering the quality assurance system and providing training as necessary.
• Presenting HMS training and maintaining QA training records.
• Developing written work processes to support HMS.
• Assisting QA Leader in Lessons Learned and Customer Satisfaction efforts.
• Conducting quality audits, documenting results and implementing root cause analysis.
• Issuing audit reports in a timely manner, logging and tracking audit findings.
• Preparing project-specific quality plans.
• Coordinating vendor surveillance activities, including 3rd Party Inspection.
• Performing vendor surveillance audits/inspections.
• Maintaining quality records and reporting on performance.
• Maintaining corrective action plans and progress reports.
• Aligning client expectations and collecting feedback surveys.
• Encouraging team members to recognize outstanding performance.
• Growing team to high performance.
• Implementing Value Engineering ideas for cost savings.
• Occasional travel to other Hargrove offices for audits/training.
