Job summary

Hargrove & Associates Inc. is seeking a QA/QC Specialist in Plaquemine, LA to lead the QA/QC team and drive process improvements. The role requires extensive QA/QC experience, entity-wide training, and delivering on safety, quality, and schedule commitments.

The ideal candidate will mentor staff, plan work scopes, and ensure execution systems meet project requirements, budgets, and delivery milestones across EPC projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science in Industrial Engineering or related field from an accredited university is required.
• Certification/Training for ISO 9000/Lead Auditor, Special Practices (NDE; Welding), Vendor Surveillance Management and Construction Activities Inspection Methods is preferred.
• 15+ years of relevant experience in Quality Management System and EPC Project Quality Assurance Management.
• Experience directing QA for EPC projects and hands-on QMS/QC activities.

Responsibilities

• Training Teammates on QA/QC regulations and Codes and Standards.
• Establishing a safe work environment and communicating the Company commitment to safety.
• Planning and organizing the work of the team; communicating the plan to leadership.
• Developing assigned personnel including mentoring, assignment and performance assessments.
• Maintaining control of the Company QA/QC efforts to meet budgets, schedules and quality standards.
