Job summary

Hargrove Engineers & Constructors in Decatur, AL seeks a seasoned QA/QC supervisor to lead the QA/QC team, coordinate lessons learned, and drive process improvements under minimal supervision. This full-time role offers comprehensive benefits and occasional per diem for those who qualify.

Ideal candidates will have 10+ years in QA/QC for heavy industrial EPC projects, BS/MS in Industrial Engineering, and ASQ QA certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science in Industrial Engineering or related field from an accredited university is required.
• ASQ Certification in Quality Engineering or Management is preferred.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in Quality Management System and EPC Project Quality Assurance Management.
• Hands on knowledge of QA/QC practices related to heavy industrial EPC project execution.
• Experience with Industry Codes and Standards including ASME, API, AWS, NFPA, NACE, IEEE and NEC.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to lead a small team to deliver on commitments.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and provide technical direction over the QA/QC Team.
• Coordinate lessons learned, process improvements, and Quality training efforts.
• Administer the quality assurance system and provide training as necessary.
• Present HMS training and maintain quality assurance training records.
• Develop written work processes to support the HMS.
• Conduct quality audits and perform root cause analysis where appropriate.
• Issue audit reports and track resolutions.
