Job summary

Prime Controls L.P. is seeking a QA/QC Field Inspector to perform quality control inspections and testing of field-installed instrumentation devices and control panels in accordance with NEC, UL 508A & 698A standards and site drawings. The role supports safety and compliance on client sites across the US.

You will analyze findings, prepare written reports, and communicate corrective actions to project teams while assisting with training material and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Electrical Technology or equivalent with related experience.
• 2 years related experience expected.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills required.

Responsibilities

• Perform QA/QC inspections of field-installed instrumentation and control panels.
• Inspect wiring, panels, and instrument loops per NEC, UL 508A/698A standards.
• Document non-conformances and write corrective actions with follow-up.
• Analyze quality findings and provide corrective measures to minimize recurrence.
• Prepare written inspection reports and present insights to the team.
