Job summary

Tempus AI is hiring a Senior QA Engineer to embed with Agile Scrum teams, designing and maintaining UI, API, and data-validation tests in Java and Python. You will integrate tests into CI/CD to run with every build, and apply AI-assisted tooling for faster authoring and coverage analysis.

Strong experience in UI automation with Playwright or Selenium, API testing, SQL, and CI/CD is required. Knowledge of HIPAA/SOX and a regulated lab environment is a plus.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in software QA with automation experience.
• Proficiency in Java and/or Python.
• Hands-on UI automation with Playwright or Selenium.
• API testing and CI/CD experience.

Responsibilities

• Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies and ensure quality from story start.
• Build and maintain automated tests for UI, REST APIs, and databases.
• Own regression suites and keep them green in CI/CD pipelines.
• Test for HIPAA and SOX compliance and traceability to requirements.
• Analyze results, triage failures, and author reproducible bug reports.
• Validate night-time deployments and post-deployment health.
