The ideal candidate will craft detailed test plans, automate tests using Python, Pytest or Playwright, and collaborate with developers and DevOps to shift quality left in a fast-paced agile environment.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of software testing concepts and QA methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with manual testing across web and API layers.
• Experience with API testing tools like Postman or Swagger.
• Strong SQL skills including joins and data integrity checks.
• Proficient in automation testing using Selenium, Python, Pytest or Playwright.
• Experience using AI tools in QA workflows (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain test plans, cases, and scenarios aligned to requirements.
• Prioritize testing based on risk and business impact.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure coverage before testing.
• Use AI to generate test cases and edge cases from user stories.
• Perform functional, integration, and regression testing of RESTful APIs.
• Validate backend data consistency with SQL queries.
