Tempus AI is seeking a Senior QA Engineer to join Agile teams and drive automated testing across UI, API, and data validation layers. You will design frameworks in Java and Python, integrate with CI/CD, and ensure tests run unattended for every build.

The role emphasizes HIPAA/SOX compliance, traceability, and mentoring junior QA engineers, with a strong focus on regulated environments and cloud-based tooling.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in software QA, including 5+ years writing test automation.
• Strong programming ability in at least one language used for automation (Java and/or Python).
• Hands-on UI automation with Playwright or Selenium.
• API testing with REST Assured, Postman or similar, including schema, contract and authentication checks.

Responsibilities

• Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies; represent quality from the start of a story.
• Build and maintain automated tests for web UI, REST APIs and databases.
• Own the regression suites; expand coverage and keep tests green in CI/CD.
• Test for HIPAA and SOX compliance and traceability to requirements.
• Analyze results, triage failures, and report reproducible bugs.
