Upgrade is seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer to own and build a new quality product through automation and functional testing. You will work with product teams, contribute in spec reviews and architecture discussions, and define testing strategies for new features.

This fully remote role targets candidates based in the United States, with responsibilities spanning AI-assisted test planning, automation framework development, and production-like environment testing to ensure high-quality

Qualifications

• Solid experience in Java-based test automation using Selenium and Playwright.
• Strong background in automated functional and performance testing.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and microservices testing in Kubernetes environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop test automation at the pace of feature development using AI-enabled tools.
• Define test plans and maintain automation frameworks.
• Execute functional/performance tests in disposable environments and production-like setups.
• Collaborate with QA platform to create solutions for feature validations and test automation.
