Job summary

Upgrade, Inc. is seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer to architect and build test automation infrastructure, tooling, and agentic solutions.

This fully remote role is open to candidates based in the US and focuses on accelerating testing across engineering teams. You will own the automation framework, build production-grade agents, and deploy services to production clusters, driving improved productivity and quality.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years building production software and test infrastructure.
• Proven track record designing and shipping agentic test automation frameworks.
• Fluency with agentic coding tools and orchestrating multiple agents.

Responsibilities

• Design and own automation framework for functional and performance testing.
• Build agents to automate existing QA workflows and reduce engineering friction.
• Develop applications and services that automation depends on and operate them in production.
• Prototype quickly, gather feedback from teams, iterate until quality is hardened and monitored.
• Identify gaps in existing frameworks and drive solutions.
