Job summary

Upgrade is seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer to architect and build test automation infrastructure and tooling, partnering with product teams to produce reliable production deployments. This remote role is open to candidates in the US or Canada.

Qualifications

5-7+ years building production software, with depth in test infrastructure and developer tooling.
Proven track record building agentic solutions and test automation frameworks from the ground up.
Fluency with agentic coding tools to orchestrate multiple agents.

Responsibilities

Design and own automation framework for functional and performance testing.
Build agents to automate existing QA workflows and reduce engineering friction.
Develop the applications and services automation depends on, deploy them, and operate in prod environments.
Take prototypes through demos, gather feedback, and iterate until matured and monitored.
