Job summary
Upgrade, Inc. is seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer to architect and build test automation infrastructure for rapid, trusted software delivery. This role is not a classic product QA position; you will design services from scratch, ship them to production clusters, and own them end-to-end.
The position is fully remote with eligibility for candidates in the US or Canada. You will partner with product teams to understand automation needs and deliver scalable, agentic QA tooling across the
Qualifications
- 5-7+ years building production software with test infrastructure and tooling.
- Proven track record shipping agentic solutions for QA automation.
- Experience with micro-services and Kubernetes in production.
Responsibilities
- Design and own automation framework for functional and performance testing.
- Build agents to automate QA/testing workflows and reduce engineering friction.
- Develop services that automation depends on and deploy them in production.
- Iterate from prototypes to hardened, monitored solutions with quality.
