Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, English, journalism, business, or related field.
• 8+ years of A/E/C proposal/pursuit experience.
• Proven experience leading large, complex proposals.
• Strong understanding of public-sector procurement and proposal processes.
• Experience contributing to pursuit strategy and positioning.
• Proficiency with CRM systems, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign), Microsoft Office.
• Demonstrated experience leading large, complex pursuits and managing multiple concurrent proposals in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage pursuits, including large, complex, high-profile opportunities exceeding $100M.
• Direct all phases of the pursuit lifecycle from strategy to final submission and closeout.
• Develop and implement pursuit strategies, win themes, and messaging frameworks.
• Facilitate pursuit planning meetings, including capture, kickoff, and reviews.
• Collaborate with technical leadership to shape approaches and differentiate submissions.
• Oversee proposal development, ensuring compliance, quality, and strategic alignment.
• Lead proposal production, including layout, graphics, and final delivery.
• Manage multiple pursuits with competing priorities and deadlines.
• Assist with presentation preparation and materials.
• Provide guidance and training to junior marketing and pursuit staff.
• Contribute to process improvement for proposals and tools.
• Support business development with market research and positioning.
• Represent JMT at conferences to promote initiatives and network with professionals.
