Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field required.
• Associate’s degree with three years of purchasing/procurement experience accepted.
• 18 months of internal Purchasing Agent II experience qualifies.
• Preferred CPPB/CPPO or CPM/CPSM certification by a recognized body.

Responsibilities

• Purchases supplies, equipment, and services for district operations at lowest total cost.
• Prepares and evaluates bid invitations, RFQs, and quotes.
• Prepares contracts and maintains vendor/contract files.
• Tracks purchase orders to stay within approved District budget.
• Leads unit activities and coordinates with senior/supervisory staff.
• Maintains insurance, source files, and audit trails per policy.
• Communicates effectively with staff, administrators, and stakeholders.
