The role emphasizes contract management, negotiation, and supplier performance, requiring five years of government procurement experience, knowledge of Florida Sunshine Law, and the ability to improve processes while meeting deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, contract management, or procurement.
• Minimum of five years of procurement experience with a government entity.
• Strong knowledge of Florida Sunshine Law and procurement regulations.
• Ability to learn City ERP and IonWave eSourcing.

Responsibilities

• Process purchase requisitions and issue purchase orders in compliance with laws.
• Develop specifications and manage solicitations (ITB, RFP, RFQ, etc.).
• Assist departments with procurement activities and contract management.
• Lead selection committee activities and support contract negotiations.
• Monitor annual contracts and research state/intergovernmental contracts.
