Responsibilities

• Oversees financial transactions, procurement methods and contract management.
• Proficient in billing, budgeting, purchasing, finance, accounting and auditing.
• Responsible for purchasing supplies and equipment.
• Attention to detail and the ability to review purchase orders, invoices and accounting documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Savvy in financial systems and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Knowledge with the New Mexico State Procurement Code and SHARE Financials.
• Completes travel requests and reimbursements following State of New Mexico policies and procedures.
• Maintains excellent vendor relations and communication/customer service skills (listening, verbal and written).
• Skilled in working independently with minimal supervision and assist on special projects as needed.
