Job summary

Motorola Solutions – Exacom seeks a high-performing Technical Field Services Manager to lead post-sales field engineering teams responsible for installation, deployment, and maintenance of Exacom Hindsight 4. The role demands strict SLA adherence, on-site deployments, and revenue-focused project delivery.

You will manage field engineers, drive KPI performance, coordinate with project managers and client IT teams, and ensure SAT and security standards while supporting 24/7 public safety

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive technical management experience leading technical support and/or field deployment teams.
• Proven track record managing multi-disciplinary technical teams (remote and on-site).
• Deep understanding of VoIP, SIP, RoIP, and audio recording/logging technologies.
• Hands-on knowledge of Windows Server environments, networking protocols, and SQL databases.
• Certifications: ITIL Foundation, PMP, Network+, Security+ are highly desirable.
• Travel up to 20–30% to support major field installations or critical customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Direct, mentor, and evaluate a dual-function team of Field Engineers with KPI-driven performance.
• Plan, schedule, and execute on-site hardware/software installations, upgrades, and system cutovers.
• Coordinate with project managers and client IT/dispatch directors on deployment timelines and readiness.
• Ensure adherence to SAT, security standards, and standardized installation protocols.
• Act as the technical point of contact during go-live events and manage project backlog.
