Job summary

DoorDash is seeking a Senior Manager, Protective Services to lead protective operations, training, vendor management, and incident response across our security program in the United States. This is a build-and-execute leadership role with hands-on accountability for staffing, protection decisions, and how incidents are handled.

Qualifications

• Ten or more years in protective, security, or military operations with hands-on leadership.
• Five or more years managing people with hands-on responsibility for protective operations.
• Decision authority and accountability in fast-moving, high-consequence situations.

Responsibilities

• Lead protective operations. Own staffing, assignment, protective decisions, resourcing, and response across the full scope of the program.
• Own training and standards. Set what people are trained on, qualified in, and kept current; verify compliance and maintain records.
• Own vendor and supplier management. Define needs, run procurement, set approval thresholds and ensure supplier standards.
• Own incident response. Serve as escalation point and make real-time protective decisions; document decisions and rationale.
• Lead converged physical-cyber protection with Protective Intelligence and Cyber Protective Services.
• Earn trust and keep friction low by building relationships with the people protected and ensuring unobtrusive protection.
