Job summary

DoorDash is seeking a Senior Manager, Protective Services to lead protective operations, training, and standards across its global footprint. You will decide staffing, protect the people and environments, manage vendors, incident response, and converged physical-cyber protection in coordination with intelligence and cybersecurity teams.

Qualifications

• Ten or more years in protective, security, or military operations with hands-on responsibility for protective operations.
• Ability to make sound calls under pressure in fast-moving, high-consequence situations.
• Experience building or scaling protective capability and setting standards and procedures.
• Experience running more than one protective program simultaneously, with cost and staffing accountability.
• Fluency in physical and cyber security concepts and operations.
• Willingness to travel around 35% (peaks to ~50%).

Responsibilities

• Lead protective operations, staffing, assignment, decisions, resources, and response across the program.
• Oversee training and standards; ensure records accuracy and deployability on short notice.
• Manage vendor and supplier relationships, procurement, and approvals.
• Own incident response; escalate legal exposure or law enforcement involvement and document decisions.
• Lead converged physical-cyber protection with intelligence and cybersecurity teams.
• Maintain trust with protected individuals and minimize friction in protection services.
