Qualifications

• Ten+ years in protective, security, or military operations with hands-on leadership.
• Ability to make sound decisions under pressure in high-consequence situations.
• Proven track record building or scaling protective capability and setting standards.
• Experience managing multiple protective programs simultaneously with cost and staffing accountability.
• Familiarity with physical and cyber security concepts and how systems interconnect.
• Discretion in handling sensitive information and maintaining trust with protected individuals.
• Willingness to travel ~35–50% with short notice.

Responsibilities

• Lead protective operations, staffing, assignment, and protection decisions across the program.
• Define and enforce training and qualification standards; maintain documentation and deployable teams.
• Oversee vendor/supplier management, procurement, and threshold approvals for protective services.
• Direct incident response and real-time decision-making for protective events within authority.
• Coordinate converged physical and cyber protection with intelligence and cyber teams.
• Foster trust with protected individuals and teams by reducing friction and ensuring safety.
