Job summary

DoorDash is seeking a Senior Manager, Protective Services to lead protective operations, training, and vendor management. You will decide staffing, protection standards, and incident responses, while coordinating converged physical-cyber protection with intelligence and cybersecurity teams.

You will travel up to ~50% as needed, build a high-performing team, and drive protection programs with strong judgment and discretion.

Qualifications

• Ten or more years in protective, security, or military operations with hands-on leadership.
• Decision authority and accountability in high‑consequence scenarios.
• Experience building or scaling protective capability and standards.
• Experience running multiple protective programs with cost and staffing responsibility.
• Fluent understanding of physical and cyber security concepts at operational level.
• Ability to collaborate with intelligence, cybersecurity, legal, and business teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead protective operations across staffing, assignment, and response.
• Own training and standards, ensure records and ongoing readiness.
• Manage vendor and supplier relationships with procurement oversight.
• Own incident response and escalation for protective events.
• Coordinate converged physical-cyber protection with intelligence and cyber teams.
• Build trust with protected individuals and reduce friction in protection services.
