Job summary

Ulteig seeks a Lead System Protection Engineer to lead the design, development, and implementation of protective relay settings and coordination studies. Qualifications

• ABET accredited Electrical Engineering degree required.
• PE license or ability to obtain within 1 year of start date.
• 7–9 years of relevant experience required.
• Experience with protection schemes for 12.47 kV to 345 kV; higher voltages a plus.
• Knowledge of NERC PRC standards and compliance.
• Permanent US work authorization and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and implementation of protective relay settings and coordination studies.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate detailed phases of assigned projects.
• Provide technical guidance to other engineers and review design drawings.
• Support on-site commissioning, testing, and construction activities as needed.
• Travel 10–20% of the year.
