Atlantic City Electric, part of Exelon, is seeking a Sr level engineer to lead and support protection and control efforts for substation rebuilds and asset replacements. The role focuses on grid reliability, capacity expansion, and innovation such as Digital Smart Substations.

The position requires extensive engineering expertise, with preferred experience in transmission, substation devices, RTU/annunciator/metering and capacitor control systems. It may include extended hours during storms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or PE license required.
• Ability to analyze and interpret complex electrical systems.
• 7+ years of professional engineering experience (or 6+ with Masters/PE).
• Preferred: experience with transmission/substation projects and protection systems.

Responsabilités

• Lead engineering tasks and projects with significant financial and operational impact.
• Provide technical expertise and mentorship to teams.
• Develop documentation, plans, criteria, calculations and cost estimates.
• Support planning, design, commissioning, operation and maintenance of facilities.
