Job summary

Gulf Interstate Engineering in Houston is seeking a Proposal Manager to lead the development and production of proposals in response to client solicitations. The role focuses on coordinating internal teams and external stakeholders to compile complete, compliant submissions.

The ideal candidate has 10–15 years in oil and gas engineering/construction with strong leadership, communication, and multi-tasking abilities to meet RFP deadlines and maintain proposal databases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing or Administration or commensurate experience.
• 10–15 years of experience in oil and gas engineering/construction or related industry with proposal involvement.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to lead and coordinate cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage development and production of proposals in response to client solicitations.
• Review RFPs/RFIs, develop proposal matrix and milestones to meet deadlines.
• Interface with internal groups and external stakeholders to gather required information.
• Monitor proposal production and ensure completion of all requirements for submission.
• Prepare final documents and complete review/approval process.
• Archive all electronic files and maintain proposal data accuracy.
