Job summary

EnerMech is seeking an experienced Proposals Engineer to strengthen the Houston-based team. You will lead end-to-end tendering, ensure compliance, and align proposals with client requirements and EnerMech values.

The role requires strong technical cost-estimating experience and collaboration with the pipelines and process services experts. The successful candidate will coordinate with cross-functional teams to develop technically sound, commercially competitive bids and deliverables within tight

Qualifications

• Knowledge of estimating practices.
• Knowledge of Pipeline and Process services (e.g., Nitrogen Leak test, Retro jetting, Pigging, Hydrotest, Dewatering, Umbilicals).
• Technical knowledge in Pipelines and Process Services and ability to write methodologies.
• Accuracy and ability to work to fast-paced deadlines.
• Microsoft Office suite proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Effective communicator with commercial awareness.
• Detail oriented with strong presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop technical methodologies, equipment lists and cost estimates within Pipeline and Process services.
• Attend client pre-bid meetings and site visits, document scope and requirements.
• Lead preparation of proposal documentation, including basis of estimate and contract definitions.
• Review client documents and develop appropriate methodologies and equipment spreads.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop technically and commercially sound solutions.
• Prepare comprehensive cost estimates covering all components including management services, equipment, materials, and construction.
• Coordinate with Business Development to align with win strategy and client expectations.
• Respond to tender clarifications and prepare tender deliverables and schedules.
• Submit client terms through EnerMech portal for Legal Counsel review.
• Be part of negotiations during tendering phase and contribute to qualifications.
• Complete technical and commercial qualifications with relevant departments.
