Job summary

FlatironDragados seeks an experienced Senior Proposal Manager to lead multi-project pursuits, coordinating collection and preparation of all documents for bid submittals and ensuring a compelling, compliant final package.

You will collaborate with business development, pre-construction, and cross-functional teams, run strategy sessions, manage schedules, and mentor the proposal team to deliver marketing-quality proposals on time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in English, marketing or communications is required.
• 8+ years in project pursuit within construction/engineering.
• 5+ years as Proposal Manager preferred.
• Experience leading proposal teams and mentoring staff.
• Willingness to travel 50–60%.
• Strong writing/editing of project summaries and resumes.
• Proficient in Adobe Acrobat, Photoshop, InDesign; Deltek Vision.

Responsibilities

• Oversees collection and creation of one or more project proposals prior to bid submittal.
• Supports pursuit strategy with internal clients and coordinates schedules.
• Leads strategy sessions and creates a compliance matrix for the team.
• Develops the Proposal Work Plan to meet RFP requirements.
• Assembles proposal documents, edits for one-voice style, and ensures marketing quality.
• Coordinates with JV partners and subcontractors to gather required docs.
• Trains and mentors proposal staff and oversees division award efforts.
• Compiles technical writing from interviews and expert inputs.
