Job summary

CDW is seeking a Senior Proposal Specialist to own the largest, most complex pursuits from start to submission and post-submission. You will coordinate across sales, technical, pricing, contracts, legal, and partners, acting as the quarterback of each bid and coaching the team.

You’ll craft compliant, persuasive content using company-approved AI tools and maintain the content library, while driving win themes and ensuring tight project management for multi-volume responses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Five or more years of proposal writing or proposal management experience.
• Excellent writing, editing and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with generative AI tools and the ability to help others adopt them.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint) and Adobe Acrobat.

Responsibilities

• Lead the largest, most complex pursuits, coordinating sales, technical, pricing, contracts and legal teams.
• Direct kickoff, scheduling, risk tracking and accountability for contributors.
• Lead color team reviews and drive comments to closure on pricing and strategy.
• Shape win strategy, write executive summaries and propose discriminators.
• Use approved AI tools to analyze solicitations, draft content and speed reviews.
• Ensure compliance with forms and page limits; manage final assembly, QC and on-time submission.
• Lead debriefs and lessons-learned sessions; support clarifications and BAFOs.
• Coach and mentor junior team members and drive process improvements.
