Job summary

FlatironDragados is seeking an experienced Senior Proposal Manager to lead proposal efforts for multiple pursuits in a fast-paced environment. You will manage document collection, strategy development, and cross-functional collaboration to produce competitive bids.

You will oversee the proposal schedule, ensure compliance with Owner's requests, and mentor a team of proposal staff. Travel 50–60% is expected to support pursuit meetings and company proposals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in English, Marketing, Communications or related field.
• 8+ years’ project pursuit experience in construction or engineering industry.
• 5+ years’ experience as Proposal Manager preferred.
• Experience managing proposal teams and coordinating cross-division efforts.
• Willingness to travel 50–60% for pursuit meetings and company proposals.
• Ability to coach and mentor direct reports and develop talent.

Responsibilities

• Oversees collection and creation of project proposals, ensuring all items are included before the bid deadline.
• Meets with internal clients to support pursuit strategy; coordinates and creates the proposal schedule.
• Leads proposal strategy sessions and the compliance matrix for technical documentation.
• Develops and implements the Proposal Work Plan to meet RFP requirements.
• Assembles proposal documents and ensures a marketing-quality product; proofreads and edits content.
• Coordinates with JV partners and subcontractors for required proposal information.
• Trains and mentors proposal team staff and oversees Division Award efforts.
• Compiles technical writing based on interviews and inputs from estimators and engineers.
