Job summary

Invitation Homes seeks a Superintendent to oversee property rehab and turnover, coordinating with crews, vendors, and leasing teams to keep projects on schedule. You will conduct move-out inspections, prepare scopes of work, and manage costs while ensuring safety and quality at each site.

The role requires a strong background in residential construction, OSHA 10, and proven project management experience. Occasional travel and weekend work may be needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of project management experience across multiple projects and budgets.
• General knowledge of residential construction including plumbing, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, drywall and flooring.
• Negotiation and management of contractors to complete work.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfort with tablets and business apps like Outlook and Salesforce.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full-cycle rehab and turnover of properties.
• Meet with residents for move-out visits and orientations.
• Conduct move-out inspections and scope work with cost estimates.
• Coordinate with contractors, issue change orders, track progress.
• Communicate delays to Leasing Team and ensure safety on site.
• Negotiate repairs with vendors per company standards.
