Job summary

Rose Associates Inc. is seeking an experienced and dynamic Property Manager in New York City.

You will lead on-site operations, maximize occupancy and profitability, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate with leasing, compliance, and accounting teams to meet property goals. The role requires a minimum of 5 years in multifamily property management, strong financial skills, and a NY real estate license or ability to obtain one within 120 days.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, real estate, or finance or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of multifamily residential property management experience.
• Proficiency in navigating computers and property management software including Microsoft Office, iLuvLeasing, On-Site, Elise AI, RentCafe and Yardi.
• Technical knowledge of building operations and maintenance.
• Understanding of marketing trends, budgeting and reporting with strong GAAP knowledge.
• Valid NYS real estate license or ability to obtain one within 120 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Engage with owners, upper management, internal teams, and partners to enhance client satisfaction and coordinate day-to-day operations.
• Communicate with residents promptly to address concerns.
• Oversee scheduling for Resident Managers, office, building, and leasing staff.
• Recruit, train, and lead a unified operations team.
• Enforce policies and ensure compliance across residents and staff.
• Oversee property inspections and coordinate maintenance, vendors, and capital improvements.
• Supervise ongoing construction for new buildings.
• Assist with annual operating budgets and variance reports.
