Job summary

Rose Associates in New York, NY is seeking an experienced Property Manager to lead operations, maximize occupancy, and optimize financial performance across multifamily properties. You will oversee staff, coordinate leasing, maintenance, and compliance, and build strong resident relations.

The role requires a minimum of 5 years in multifamily management, proficiency with Yardi and RentCafe, and a solid grasp of budgets and GAAP reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, real estate, or finance or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of multifamily residential property management experience.
• Proficiency with property management software (Yardi, RentCafe, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Engage with owners, management, teams, and partners to enhance satisfaction and operations.
• Communicate with residents promptly to address concerns.
• Review lease packages for current and potential residents with internal teams.
• Lead Resident Managers, staff, and leasing teams with clear goals.
• Recruit, train, and supervise a unified property operations team.
• Enforce policies and ensure compliance with audits and surveys.
• Inspect properties, coordinate maintenance and capital projects.
• Oversee vendor contracts and service levels.
• Be on-site for emergencies and coordinate responses.
• Ensure insurance requirements and incident reporting.
