Job summary

Rose Associates, a leading New York real estate firm, seeks an Assistant Property Manager to support day-to-day operations across our multifamily communities. You will assist the Property Manager with lease administration, resident relations, and vendor coordination.

Requires on-site presence, a NYS real estate license (or ability to obtain within 120 days), and at least 3 years in multifamily or assistant property management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, real estate, or finance.
• Minimum of 3 years of multifamily or assistant property management experience.
• Proficiency navigating computers and property management software (Microsoft Office, On-Site, Elise AI, RentCafe, Yardi).
• Technical knowledge of building operations and maintenance.
• Understanding of budgeting and reporting.
• Valid NYS real estate license or ability to obtain within 120 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Liaise between ownership and residents; manage lease administration and data entry.
• Foster positive relationships among residents, management, and staff.
• Prepare monthly reports and manage accounts payable/receivable.
• Coordinate Move In/Move Out schedules and security deposit processing.
• Support Property Manager with budget forecasting and vendor coordination.
