Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform technical and mechanical work ensuring buildings meet safety, cleanliness and operational standards. Responsibilities include completing work orders, prepping vacant units for leasing, inventory management, and routine inspections.

The role requires hands-on maintenance skills, adherence to safety policies, and ability to work in all weather conditions, with potential evening or weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience in building maintenance and repairs is preferred.
• Ability to diagnose and repair systems and equipment per policy and code.
• Adherence to safety standards and procedures as required by OSHA.

Responsibilities

• Completes work orders and preventive maintenance on building systems.
• Prepares vacant units and conducts punch lists for move-ins.
• Manages materials, inventory, and coordinates with vendors as needed.
• Documents service requests and maintains accurate records.
• Maintains grounds and common areas, performs cleaning and cosmetic repairs.
• Supports cost-control by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible.
