Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure the physical aspects of the property meet the company’s standards for cleanliness, safety, and overall functionality.

The role involves diagnosing and repairing building systems, completing the make-ready process for vacant apartments, managing materials, and documenting service requests. You will also help maintain grounds and assist with cleaning and painting, while supporting safety and cost-control initiatives.

Qualifications

• EPA refrigerant certifications (Type 1/II/Universal) required.
• Valid driver's license to operate golf cart or vehicle on property.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Experience in maintenance for multi-family properties preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair building systems per policies, procedures, safety standards and code requirements.
• Complete the make-ready process for vacant homes from inspection to punch list and scheduling vendors.
• Track inventory, obtain supplies, and notify supervisor for re-ordering needs.
• Document service requests timely and accurately for tracking.
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities; assist with cleaning and painting as needed.
• Support cost-control by fixing rather than replacing parts and using materials efficiently.
