Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure that the physical aspects of the property meet our standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. You will perform and document repairs, handle the make-ready process for vacant units, manage inventory, and assist with grounds and common area maintenance.

Qualifications

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs to meet safety and quality standards.
• Complete make-ready process for vacant units including inspections and coordinating vendors.
• Track inventory and request re-orders, document service requests accurately.
• Maintain grounds and common areas and support cost‑control by proper material use.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders and preventive maintenance.
• Completes the make-ready process for leasing.
• Follows procedures to obtain materials and notify supervisor for re-orders.
• Completes documentation for service requests.
• Assists in grounds maintenance, cleaning, and painting as needed.
• Supports cost-cutting by fixing rather than replacing, and proper tool use.

Education

EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling

State and Local jurisdiction certifications as required
