Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure building envelopes, grounds and common areas meet safety and quality standards. Responsibilities include completing work orders, making-ready vacant units, inventory control, documentation, and basic repairs.

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1 and II or Universal refrigerant certifications.
• State and local certifications as required.
• Valid driver’s license to operate equipment on property.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders and preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and repairing per policies and codes.
• Complete the make-ready process for vacant homes, including inspections, punch lists, and scheduling vendors.
• Track inventory, request re-orders, return unused items to maintenance. Notify supervisor on re-stock needs.
• Document service requests timely and accurately for tracking and follow-up.
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities; perform cleaning and painting as needed.
• Assist in cost-saving by repairing rather than replacing parts when possible.
• Attend safety meetings and complete required OSHA training.
• May inspect contractor work to ensure quality and scope.
• Assist in periodic property inspections to identify safety concerns.
