Job summary

Greystar seeks a Maintenance Technician to ensure buildings, grounds, and common areas meet high standards of cleanliness, safety, and functionality at the community. You will troubleshoot resident requests and coordinate with vendors for major repairs.

You will assist with make-ready inspections, schedule tasks, and help manage costs while maintaining a safe working environment and strong customer service with residents and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with related experience.
• Experience in property management maintenance or building maintenance.
• Ability to safely use hand and power tools and read technical manuals.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident work orders and perform routine maintenance and repairs.
• Oversee make-ready process for vacant units, including inspections and vendor coordination.
• Maintain grounds, building exteriors, and common areas to Greystar standards.
• Inspect work by staff and contractors to ensure quality and compliance.
• Assist in budgeting for repairs, maintenance, and capital projects.
• Follow safety policies, MSDS, OSHA rules, and keep tools and supplies organized.
