Job summary

Ascentia is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead on-site maintenance teams across our communities. You will oversee building and grounds upkeep, drive curb appeal, manage service orders and vendor contracts, and ensure safety and cost control.

The role requires hands-on supervision, strong communication, and a focus on resident satisfaction. You will coordinate make-readies, track preventive maintenance, and supervise on-call coverage.

Qualifications

• 5 years of maintenance supervision experience.
• EPA certification for air conditioning is required.
• Strong leadership, communication and customer service skills.
• Proven ability to manage vendors and budgets while ensuring safety.

Responsibilities

• Oversee property maintenance for buildings and grounds to keep the community safe and attractive.
• Lead and schedule maintenance staff, assign tasks and ensure timely completion of work orders.
• Manage vendor relations, contracts and capital improvements within budget.
• Monitor inventory, tools, and equipment; enforce safety and compliance standards.
• Coordinate make-readies for vacants and ensure timely unit turnover and quality work.
