Job summary

Irvine Company Apartment Communities, a division of Irvine Company, seeks a Senior Service Manager to lead maintenance operations for multiple communities. You will supervise the on-site service team, manage budgets, and drive preventative maintenance while delivering exceptional resident and vendor service.

You will ensure safety, compliance, and quality standards, coordinate with project teams, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability across your portfolio.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma required.
• Previous Service Manager experience required.
• Ability to lead and develop maintenance staff and manage budgets.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, onboard, and develop maintenance staff focusing on engagement and retention.
• Create a customer service culture for residents, vendors, and employees; respond to requests and concerns.
• Monitor maintenance performance metrics and drive action plans to meet goals.
• Manage operating budgets and identify cost savings; participate in CapEx/NRO planning.
• Ensure Irvine Company standards are met and safety regulations are followed.
• Coordinate with vendors and reinvestment teams; bid and negotiate services and projects.
• Provide leadership beyond the site and support portfolio initiatives.
• Support quarterly inspections and energy/water management programs.
