Job summary

BH Management Services, LLC is seeking a Service Manager II to coordinate maintenance staff across multifamily properties. You will schedule work, supervise repairs, and ensure safety standards are followed while managing inventories and budgets.

The role collaborates with the Community Manager and requires strong technical knowledge of HVAC and appliance systems, with a focus on customer service and property safety. On-site work with rotating on-call duties is expected.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of progressive maintenance and safety experience.
• Advanced computer skills and industry-specific technology to coordinate requests.
• Regularly performs manual, task-oriented work independently and prioritizes tasks.
• High School diploma is preferred.
• Oversee 300-500 units in one community.

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance staff schedules and assign tasks.
• Participate in site staffing with the Community Manager.
• Coordinate and schedule training for employees.
• Ensure safety training and property safety audits are conducted.
• Monitor daily property and grounds for needed maintenance and hazards.
• Ensure repairs are completed to BH standards including rehab and construction.
• Maintain knowledge of OSHA and safety requirements.
• Inspect, repair, replace, and install equipment and tools.
• Oversee preventive maintenance programs per BH guidelines.
• Assist in enforcing company policies and procedures.
• Share on-call responsibilities with the maintenance team.
