Job summary

ConcordRENTS is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the upkeep of apartment communities in Florida. Responsibilities include supervising the maintenance team, scheduling preventive maintenance, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring safety and quality standards across properties.

The role requires EPA/CPO certifications, several trades skills, and 5+ years in maintenance. Strong organizational and communication abilities are essential for delivering high service levels to residents.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Applied trades training in mechanics, electrical systems, plumbing.
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) and EPA Universal or Type I/II needed or training within 6 months.
• Ability to read and interpret manuals, drawings, and schematics.
• 5+ years in maintenance or related roles.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Maintenance Department staff; provide safety instruction and coaching.
• Plan maintenance budgets and work with vendors/contractors.
• Establish preventive maintenance schedules and priorities.
• Track service requests, close records, and ensure timely resolution.
• Maintain EPA logs, MSDS sheets, and equipment records.
• Order parts, manage inventory, and ensure shop safety and orderliness.
• Coordinate move‑in/move‑out inspections and resident orientations.
• Respond to complex maintenance issues and supervise outside contractors.
