Job summary

Greystar is seeking a maintenance technician to ensure clean, safe, and well-maintained communities. You will diagnose defects, perform repairs, and manage the make-ready process for vacant units, coordinating with vendors and adhering to Greystar standards.

Typical responsibilities include inspecting buildings and grounds, maintaining tools and supplies, and contributing to budget planning. A high school diploma and EPA certifications are required, with a valid driver’s license preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or related experience and training.
• Experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
• Must provide own hand tools unless prohibited by State law; knowledgeable in safe use of hand/power tools.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair defects in units and common areas following safety standards and code requirements.
• Oversee make-ready process for vacant units and coordinate with vendors as needed.
• Inspect grounds, exteriors, and interiors to maintain Greystar standards of cleanliness and appearance.
• Maintain inventory of parts and supplies; assist in budgeting for repairs and improvements.
