Auto Club Of Southern Calif seeks a Claims Property Team Manager to oversee homeowner claims activities for a team, providing leadership, support, and coaching to ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to customer service best practices. This role emphasizes guiding staff, monitoring performance, and driving process improvements.

You will coordinate day-to-day team operations, review claims for quality, and lead ongoing training to strengthen technical knowledge and service delivery.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years property claims handling experience.
• 1–3 years supervisory experience preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of insurance codes, regulations, building codes and contracts.
• Strong organizational, planning and delegation skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable DMV record and minimum liability insurance.
• Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter or Associate in Claims preferred.

Responsabilités

• Review claim files regularly for quality and monitor performance metrics.
• Coach and counsel employees on performance in a timely manner.
• Resolve customer service issues through effective communication and monitoring of concerns and satisfaction.
• Recruitment and development of staff to support succession planning.
• Lead meetings with unit management to communicate goals and reinforce performance expectations.
• Maintain knowledge of current industry developments and best practices.
• Participate in committees and projects that support organizational goals.
