Tokio Marine HCC Public Risk Group is seeking a Senior Property Claims Adjuster to manage complex, multi-line first party claims with autonomy and technical expertise. Handle claims from investigation through resolution, applying advanced coverage knowledge and strong analytical judgment for fair, timely outcomes.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, 5+ years in claims, an active state license, and strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in education/experience.
• Minimum of five (5) years in insurance claims.
• Active State Adjuster's License(s).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Professional appearance in varied business settings.
• Strong organizational and analytical focus with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Problem-solving approach to business issues.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Analyze coverage issues, conduct investigations, and evaluate damages to determine validity of complex property claims.
• Communicate with insureds and agents and provide high-standard customer service.
• Investigate claims with interviews and on-site investigations; prepare written correspondence.
• Analyze estimates of structural damage written with Xactimate software.
• Review contractor estimates and reports to determine extent of damages.
• Recommend reserves and settlements beyond defined authority.
