Tokio Marine HCC - Public Risk Group is seeking a Senior Property Claims Adjuster to manage complex, multi-line first-party property claims with autonomy and technical expertise. The role involves handling claims from investigation to resolution and applying advanced coverage knowledge to deliver fair outcomes.

You will analyze coverage, review estimates with Xactimate, negotiate settlements within authority, and maintain files while delivering exceptional service to insureds and partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Minimum of five (5) years of relevant and progressive experience in insurance claims.
• Current Active State Adjuster's License(s).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Professional presentation with high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Analyze coverage issues, investigations, and evaluate damages to determine validity of complex property claims.
• Communicate with insureds and agents to high service standards.
• Investigate claims with on-site scene investigations and written correspondence.
• Analyze an estimate of structural damage written with Xactimate software.
• Review contractor estimates and reports to determine extent of damages.
• Recommend reserves and settlements within authority limits.
• Negotiate settlements with insureds and other parties within authority.
• Maintain claim files per company policy and procedures.
• Travel for meetings and meditations as required.
