Job summary

Tokio Marine HCC is seeking a Senior Property Claims Adjuster to manage complex, multi-line first-party claims with significant autonomy and technical expertise. You will oversee claims from investigation to resolution, applying advanced coverage knowledge and analytical judgment to ensure fair, timely outcomes while delivering exceptional service to insureds and partners.

The role requires five+ years of claims experience, an active adjuster license, and strong communication and negotiation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/experience.
• Minimum five years of claims experience.
• Current active state adjuster licenses.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Professional appearance in diverse business settings.
• Excellent organizational and analytical focus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze coverage issues, investigate, and evaluate damages and liability for complex property claims; issue coverage letters with authority from management.
• Communicate with insureds and agents to provide high-standard customer service.
• Conduct investigations, interview parties, and arrange on-site inspections as needed.
• Analyze estimates of structural damage using Xactimate and review contractor reports.
• Negotiate settlements within authority and document files per policy.
• Travel for meetings and business-related activities.
