Tokio Marine HCC - Public Risk Group seeks a Senior Property Claims Adjuster to manage complex, multi-line first-party claims with autonomy and technical expertise. Handle claims from investigation to resolution, applying advanced coverage knowledge and strong judgment to deliver fair, timely outcomes for insureds and partners.

The role requires a bachelor's degree, five years of claims experience, an active state license, and strong communication, organizational, and negotiation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/experience.
• Minimum five years of relevant insurance claims experience.
• Active state adjuster's license(s).
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Professional presentation across business settings.
• Strong organizational and analytical focus with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Analyze coverage issues, investigate, and evaluate damages to determine claim validity.
• Communicate with insureds and agents to provide high-quality service.
• Coordinate investigations and on-site scenes with independent adjusters.
• Assess structural damage estimates written in Xactimate.
• Review contractor and appraisal reports to determine damages.
• Recommend reserves and settlements beyond authority when appropriate.
• Prepare settlement terms for higher-value claims.
• Negotiate settlements with insureds and others within authority.
• Maintain organized claim files per policy and procedures.
• Travel for meditations and company meetings.
