Job summary

Tokio Marine HCC - Public Risk Group is seeking a Senior Property Claims Adjuster to manage complex, multi-line first party claims with autonomy and technical expertise. You will investigate, analyze coverage, negotiate settlements, and coordinate with insureds, agents, and contractors, using Xactimate and MS Office to deliver timely, fair outcomes.

This remote/hybrid role requires five years of experience, appropriate licenses, and a strong client service mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/experience.
• Minimum of five (5) years of relevant insurance claims experience.
• Current Active State Adjuster's License(s).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Professionally presented in varied business settings.
• Advanced organizational and analytical focus with high attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Analyze coverage issues, conduct investigations, and evaluate damages and liability for complex property claims.
• Communicate with insureds and agents and provide high-quality customer service.
• Investigate claims with site visits and on-site investigations; prepare written communications.
• Analyze structural damage estimates written with Xactimate.
• Review contractor estimates, independent adjuster reports, and engineering reports.
